Originally from Peskotomuhkati traditional territory in southwestern New Brunswick, Simon Brown is a self-taught poet and interdisciplinary artist now living on Abenaki traditional territory (Montérégie-Est). His French and English texts have been presented in multimedia artworks and collaborative performances, and well as in journals such as Lemon Hound, Train, Estuaire, Vallum, Poetry Is Dead, Watts, and filling Station. As a translator, he has adapted poems by Maude Pilon, Roxane Desjardins, Erin Robinsong, Steve Savage, Angela Carr, and Alice Burdick, among others. His poetry collections and artist’s books have been published in Quebec and France by Vanloo, Moult, Le laps, squint press, Paper Pusher and Frog Hollow.
